As part of the journey working towards the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030, BEE seeks to ensure that Namibia is not left out of global dialogue – however, it needs support to make this a reality. From municipal authorities to supermarkets, development agencies to mines, a long list of sustainable partners means that support is needed in all sectors of the economy.
The disposal process of used cooking oil (UCO) for businesses in the food and beverage industries has been detrimental to the sustainability of the nation and the global environment at large. This is due to the large sums of waste-product that needs to be disposed. It is to this end that a challenge was placed in front of them.
