The Dermatology Society of Namibia is a leading professional organisation committed to advancing skin health across the country through education, research, advocacy, and ethical leadership. It unites dermatologists, trainees, and public health advocates to raise standards of care, promote awareness of skin disease prevention (including sun safety and early detection of skin cancer), and improve access to quality dermatological services — especially in underserved areas.
DSNam also serves the public by disseminating multilingual educational resources, supporting continuous professional development through workshops and seminars, and fostering collaborations with governmental, academic, and international bodies. Their goal is to ensure that every Namibian has equitable access to skin health expertise and treatments, driven by professionalism, inclusivity, and innovation.
